Do you provide moving services?
While Agape Home Services does not provide moving services, our team is happy to help coordinate with a trusted third-party company to assist with your moving needs.
Do you offer design services?
Yes, we are a full design-build firm and provide comprehensive services, including 2D floor plans, 3D CAD renderings, and complete architectural drawings prepared for permitting.
How long can I expect to wait before my project starts?
Project start times may vary depending on the size of the project, scope, specific details, and material availability. Our project coordinators will work closely with you throughout the process and are always happy to answer any questions along the way. Clear communication and staying on schedule are key to ensuring a smooth transition to the next steps of your project.
What is included in your quote?
Our quotes include all labor, basic construction materials, cabinetry allowances, as well as design materials, design fees, engineering fees, and permitting fees.
I have bad allergies. What do you all do to help control dust?
Agape Home Services is very mindful of allergies and minimizing disruptions to homeowners. We take pride in keeping work areas properly contained during construction and use HEPA filters to help maintain air quality, including changing your air filters throughout the process. To further protect your home, we use Ram Board and tarps and carefully plan the shortest, least disruptive path from the point of entry to the remodeled space.
Do I need to be home when you are here?
You don’t need to be home during the project, but please be available by phone so we can quickly connect if anything comes up.
Do I need to provide a dumpster?
You do not need to provide a dumpster for demolition. Our team uses box trucks to efficiently remove all debris, trash, and waste from the job site.
Do you have a store front I can come visit?
Yes, we do have a storefront that is open to the public. We kindly ask that you call ahead before stopping by, as hours and staff availability may vary from day to day.
Do I pick up the materials?
As an optional and highly recommended service, you would not need to worry about picking up materials. We will pick materials up or have them sent to our warehouse for inspection before they reach the job site. This way, we can ensure everything is correct and free of defects, so your project goes smoothly and you can have peace of mind.
I’m having trouble deciding on my style. What can I do?
For many, deciding on a style can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, our two experienced project coordinators are here to guide you every step of the way. During your second appointment, your coordinator will ask several questions to help visualize the look you want for your space. It can also be helpful to share inspirational photos and note what specifically draws you to them. Our growing gallery on our website is another great resource for ideas. If you prefer to work with an interior decorator, we can assist you with that process as well.
What are your payment options?
We provide several convenient payment options, including cash, check, and ACH/EFT. We also accept credit cards; please note that a processing fee will apply.
Who orders material and from where?
At the start of your project, your project coordinator will provide you with a list of recommended vendors to help you begin your shopping. While you are not required to use these vendors, many of the ones we work with regularly can offer discounts to help manage costs. You will work closely with your project coordinator when ordering materials to ensure that dimensions, functionality, color, and texture are all a perfect fit for your space. This careful planning helps prevent headaches and ensures a smoother remodeling process.
Do you obtain permits?
Yes, we coordinate with all municipalities and cities to ensure all necessary permits and documents are properly obtained.
