After thousands of remodels and over a decade of experience, Agape Home Services continues to refine our procedures and processes to ensure we provide the best overall experience possible for our customers and our team.

Our guide below will give you an overview through this process from start to finish.  As we move forward, we will supply a detailed description related to your specific project. You will know exactly what to expect – communication is key!

Below is an overview of our process and what you can expect from our team.

Ideas & Design

We suggest you start by exploring what you like and want for your new space through the internet, magazines or any other media.  Also, you can take a look through our before and after photos on our website.  In addition, you can create a profile on Pinterest and Houzz free to save your ideas and share with us a visual of your style.

Details About Your Project

Now that you have a few good ideas and understanding of what you like, it’s time to prioritize and specify what exactly you want and need to be done.  Make a list of your must-haves, would like to haves, as well as a list of items you can forgo if needed to keep within your budget.

Calling Us

We know that good communication is the number one way to achieve a successful project and happy customers. From our first phone call, we will be asking a  lot of questions to learn how we can serve you best.

During our initial phone call, we’ll talk about your project including both your wants, needs and a realistic budget.  We will also talk about the type of company you’re looking for to partner with you and make sure we both are a good fit.    At the end of our conversation, we will determine if we are a good fit for what you have in mind and set up an appointment with you for the in-home consultation.

 Initial Walk-through

During your in-home consultation, we will spend 30-60 minutes getting to know each other better.  We will ask and listen to what you have in mind, give advice and options, talk through your goals, desires, and any apprehensions you may have regarding your project.  We will discuss your actual vision, personal goals, and your budget.  During this time at your home, we will discuss some practical numbers in helping direct you in the best way forward to achieve your vision and goals.  Inevitably, you will have lots of questions for us and we will leave time to answer those too. We will also talk about our processes and the next steps in moving forward.

Estimate & Budget

Our team works hard at preparing a very detailed and reader-friendly estimate that outlines your entire project scope of work from demolition to completion based on our in home discussion.  The estimate will also provide you the ability to add or omit specific areas to meet your budget. Our team is happy to assist in providing feedback on the areas that can save you money.

Overview

Once you decided you are ready to move forward, our team will offer you our next available project start date. Now it’s time for the details and what it’s going to take to get your project started. The next step in the process is design. We will schedule a detail and design appointment with you in your home.

After our initial in-home consultation, we will schedule a design appointment. Our team will walk through your project in detail making sure to obtain exact measurements and layouts. We will talk with you about any customizations, project materials and design assistance options.

Layouts & Renderings

If you are installing new cabinetry, drawings are provided once the detail and design appointment is completed. These drawings will give you a detailed overview of new custom cabinetry for your space.

3D renders are an optional service we can provide for you.  We will create a few “rough drafts” of possible design ideas and options to view. In this phase we will narrow down the ideas you like best, and hone in on a final design.  This is an exciting step because you will be able to view your 3D renderings designs for your new space.

Design Assistance

Now that you have essentially viewed and approved the overall design/layout of your project (the big picture design), we will start selecting all of the fine details and finishes your project will need. These include items like countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, tile, lighting, paint colors, appliances, etc.  All your decisions are finalized before the construction phase starts.  This ensures the process will be much smoother for you in the long run. There are two options available during this phase of the process. 1: Personal material procurement and 2: Design Assistance. Both of these options will be explained during the detail and design appointment.

Construction Agreement

After all of the details and associated costs for your project have been calculated and your selections have been finalized, we will prepare for you a “Construction Agreement”. This is our contract that outlines the scope of work, the schedule, and payment terms.

Project Commencement

At this stage we will assign your personal field crew based on your project details. This ensures the best possible fit for the crew assigned to your home. Our team and especially your project lead will always be available for any needs from demolition to completion. Working on a daily basis with the same team lead ensures all the details you discuss for your project are taken care of and completed.

Project Completion

Project punch-list and completion is the second to last phase in the process. We will always take the time to make sure everything is buttoned up and in perfect working order. We will ask you to walk through your completed space double checking any little details to make sure everything is just right!

We are excited for you as you move back into your new space. We know you will love and enjoy it for years to come!

We like to brag and so we hope you will too!!  As seen across several of our media platforms we want to share not only your experience with us but your before and after photos as well.

We stand by our work with a one year warranty on our installation. So what does this mean for you?  Peace of mind.  When your home remodeling and construction project is completed, your relationship with Agape Home Service continues on.  If you have any concerns, we will be there to make sure they are taken care of promptly.
