coppell tx bathroom remodel

The Homeowners of this traditional 1990’s home made a great decision to update and remodel their master bathroom in 2019. From the original 1990’s concept everything in the bathroom was brought up to date with a stylish facelift. The master bathroom previously featured the common builder grade items we all loved “back then”.

The all too common items like mass produced brass fixtures, lighting and hardware. In the 90’s we preferred more wall to wall carpet then we do today. Jetted tubs again mass produced at a lower quality and corner showers. These are some of the areas in the master bathroom we brought back to life and up to date!

The original bathroom contained a separate three-foot by three-foot corner shower and large jetted tub. After consulting and conceptualizing the space with the Homeowners we decided to build a beautiful large walk in shower and separate expanded vanity area.

This beautiful completely remodeled master bath included:

Complete demolition of existing bathroom

Staring with a blank canvas and in order to omit the large jetted tub area and smaller corner shower we completely gutted the master bathroom interior. This allowed us the ability to create the amazing new shower and vanity areas.

All new custom built maple cabinets and hardware

The Homeowners opted for a dark wood stained vanity that included raised panel doors and drawers with applied decorative molding. The dark stain color was a attractive contrast with the gray and white tones in the tile and countertop material.

New granite counter tops

Breckenridge Granite is an ideal surface for bathroom vanities. The exclusive contemporary and rich design in this natural stone tied the vanity and shower together to create a cohesive space. Furthermore, the utilization of natural stone will stand the test of time due to its nearly impossible inability to scratch or stain.

Custom built walk-in shower with frameless glass

The focus and centerpiece for the master bathroom is the large nine foot by five-foot shower. The shower features three obscure glass picture windows to allow natural light to flow into the space. The extended full shower bench and two wall niches allow for both convenience and luxury.

All new tile for shower area and flooring

Tibur Tile is a collection freely inspired by ageless Travertine stone. Strong and lovely as the natural stone, Tibur expresses contemporary taste, skillfully designed with subtle marks. Combined with Fault Line Imagination Mosaic Lockhart customizable mosaic tile accents the new shower turned out amazing.

New lighting

All new brushed nickel contemporary light and plumbing fixtures completed the newly updated space combined with the nickel tones in the shower.

All new paint

Sherwin Williams Repose Gray works so well with dark hardwood finishes. Repose Gray belongs to the greige family and the warm grays end to pull in both warm and cool colors in the room just tying things together in a nice little bow. Cool grays were incredibly stylish for the last decade, but now we are seeing a strong shift towards warm grays or greiges.
