7 Must-Have Tips for Remodeling Your Bathroom

Kitchen Remodeling Trends For 2020

What’s the New Trend in Kitchen Remodel?

Kitchen and bathroom remodeling can give you a chance to recreate the space of your dreams and one that you can now finally afford. Items in terms of kitchen design and choice of appliances have over the years improved greatly. So, whether you are building your kitchen from scratch or renovating an existing one with minor updates it is worth considering these top trends of 2020.

Colorful cabinets

Sure white cabinetry isn’t going away and would be the safest bet for most people. However, green is now the color of choice for many kitchen remodeling services. Shades of green are being used in just about every remodeling project, and that’s evident from all those Instagram posts.  Olive and pale mint is excellent for a farmhouse kitchen, while a more contemporary design will benefit from clover green. If blue is more your color, then dark blue cabinets will also be popular in 2020 making them a worthy consideration. So, either color is going to look terrific with wooden flooring and a glossy white backsplash.

Gold and More Gold

As leading home remodeling services, many clients are now in favor of gold. One reason for this is that taps and sinks are now available in an array of colors and finishes. We are glad to see those aesthetics have finally started making an impact on all the wet areas just as they have on appliances and furniture. Modern sinks with taps in gold color are catching on, and we see the trend getting even more intense in 2020.

Lots of New Metal

We know that using the right hardware helps to tie all the elements together, that’s why mixing it up makes sense. Changing up the hardware is a good idea, and metals are now back in fashion. You should add metal pulls, plumbing, and knobs.  Cool brushed nickel finishing is going to be big in 2020 while rose gold will be dated. Copper and brass are two other worthy alternatives. The only thing you should be careful of is not overdoing it.

gold sinkWhite quartz countertops

Sure, dark countertops look classy and appealing, but white countertops continue to be appealing, with their appeal seeing a rise in 2020. Quartz and natural stone are duking it out for the most desirable material for your countertop so you can choose any one of the two.  Quartz countertops are available in many different styles that emulate stone and are easy to maintain. Also, the use of lifetime sealers today now makes stone a good option since they are low-maintenance. However, stay away from colorful granite as that’s going out of fashion in 2020. Muted and neutral looking countertops are going to be more popular.

Final Verdict

When remodeling your home today, it is worth considering what will be hot in 2020? Apart from the trends we’ve discussed above there are many others. You will want to consult with good home remodeling service to get their take on what trendy new stuff can be used to spruce up your kitchen.
